    Veronica Lok, M.Div., RP, RMFT

M.Div., Registered psychotherapist, Registered Marriage & Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, Clinical Traumatologist, Compassionate Fatigue Specialist | Virtual Only
Most of the time, we can cope with the problems and stresses that we encounter every day. A family crisis, unexpected illness, accident, the loss of a signification person, communication problems, relationship difficulties, transition through a different stage of life, chemical dependency, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem – any of these can be helped with professional guidance. My counseling approach is to provide a secure, comfortable, empathetic, understanding, and confidential environment for clients to express their personal issues. I use eclectic counseling models such as family systems therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, art therapy, etc., to counsel clients. I have offered counseling services to adults, youths, and children from diverse socio-economic, psychosocial, and cultural backgrounds since 1993. My life experiences have a deep intercultural sensitivity. All information shared in the counselling session is held in strictest confidence in accordance with the high ethical standards of the counselling profession. In order to protect your confidentiality, your written approval is required to release of any information either verbal or written, except in circumstances where the legal system requires disclosure.
