    Tahira Jibeen, PhD.

    Psychologist | Virtual Only
I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). I completed my PhD at the University of the Punjab, Pakistan, in 2010 and have extensive experience providing psychological assessment and treatment services across private clinics, hospitals, non-government organizations, and educational institutions. I have also published several research articles in renowned international academic journals. I primarily work with adult clients and support them by focusing on their personal strengths and abilities to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. I am fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and English. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and interpersonal challenges. My clinical practice focuses on helping individuals improve emotional well-being, develop healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. I use evidence-based and scientific approaches to therapy, relying on the latest research to guide treatment planning and interventions. While my primary therapeutic orientation is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I integrate techniques from various therapeutic models to meet each client’s unique needs. I take a compassionate, collaborative, and active approach to support clients in their recovery and personal growth. I believe in tailoring evidence-based treatments to each individual in order to reduce suffering, build resilience, and improve quality of life. Clients often appreciate my direct yet empathetic style and my commitment to providing a safe, respectful, non-judgmental, and supportive therapeutic environment. I help clients explore and build on their personal strengths to foster resilience and emotional well-being.
