Or Fridenberg, MA

Mr. Fridenberg obtained his MA degree in clinical and health psychology from Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary. He was trained as a psychologist in Israel, where he earned a status of specialist in clinical psychology (Israeli licensure), before arriving in Ontario. Or has over 10 years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient treatment centers, including the Shalom Institute for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (2016-2021), where he was trained and practiced DBT, and the Israeli ministry of health mental health center “Hadar”, where he did his residency and went on to the position of senior psychologist (2008-2021). Over the years he had worked with children, youth, parents and adults. In his work, Or aspires to work collaboratively with clients, employing a non-judgmental, compassionate, LGBTQ+ positive approach, to identify and understand clients’ needs and goals, and gradually work towards them, using evidence based tools (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, Mindfulness approaches, and CBT techniques).
