Neeha Perani, RP

Neeha Perani completed her Master’s in Counselling Psychology and is trained in CBT by Adler Graduate Professional School. She has worked in various settings providing psychological assessment and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Neeha engages collaboratively with clients with compassion, warmth, and directness as she believes that clients are the expert of their own life and experiences. She empathetically supports clients through their healing process from a strength-based, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive lens. Neeha is passionate about working with children, young people, and their families who are experiencing a diverse range of emotional and relational challenges. She provides therapy using an eclectic approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She incorporates modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, etc…Neeha supports clients with anxiety, depression, anger, stress, PTSD, behaviour challenges, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, and other mental health challenges. Neeha is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals, and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
