Margo Varadi is a Registered Social Worker in Ontario specializing in adults experiencing anxiety (especially health-related anxiety), depression, sleep issues and life transitions. She has also worked with adolescents and parents, helping them adjust their mindsets and improve their interactions, empowering them with tools to help them better navigate challenges. Margo offers a supportive, strength-based approach incorporating CBT along with Mindfulness to assist clients in developing coping strategies for managing moods and accomplishing goals with the intention of improving confidence and control over their lives.
In 2013, Margo completed her Master’s degree from the University of Toronto where she specialized in mental health, completing her practicum work at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in the Mood and Anxiety Program (CBT and Motivational Interviewing) as well as Eating Disorders (DBT and Mindfulness). Prior to this, she was an advice-columnist with the Toronto Star and MTV with a focus on adolescents and parenting. Margo has also received professional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the Alder Graduate Professional School, and online counselling training with the University of Toronto.
Margo also works with clients through MindBeacon, offering CBT guided therapy and video-based LIVE therapy
