Registered Social Worker | Virtual and In-Person
I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Social Justice and Community Development. I have 20 years of experience supporting individuals with mental health, trauma, neurodiversity, and behavioural challenges—and more than eight years providing psychotherapy and psychosocial support within community and institutional settings to adults experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and PTSD, adjustment disorders, caregiver stress, insomnia, emotional regulation difficulties, personality disorders, substance use and concurrent disorders, workplace stress, grief, relationship concerns, and recovery following motor vehicle accidents. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent adults, including individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and other cognitive differences. Prior to providing psychotherapy, I developed extensive experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, trauma, developmental disabilities, and justice involvement. My background has provided me with a strong understanding of the impact that trauma, adversity, and systemic barriers can have on psychological well-being. My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe every client is the expert of their life possessing resilience and the capacity for growth.
