Jana Madagu is a Clinical Social Worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers. She has been working as a Clinical Social Worker for over 10 years. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults and has expertise working with individuals, families or couples. She received her MSW from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008 with a focus on working with Individuals, Families and Groups.
Jana's areas of expertise includes working with clients experiencing struggles with depression, anxiety (generalized anxiety, panic disorder and phobias), grief, loss and bereavement, stress and coping, as well as relationship issues, marital struggles, and separation/divorce.
Jana practices from an eclectic approach drawing from a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness Therapy.
