Elvera Watson, MSW

As a Registered Social Worker, Elvera’s thriving private practice has garnered recognition for delivering exceptional, client-centered services for children, adolescents, adults and families. Areas of special focus include depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, family violence, sexual abuse, trauma and mental health. Elvera embraces an eclectic approach to practice includes therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, ACT, DBT and Solution Focused Therapy. Inclusivity, collaboration and respect for diversity define her approach. Elvera received her Master of Social Work (Clinical) at the University of Manitoba and her BA in Developmental Studies through the university of Winnipeg. She has worked in child and adolescent psychiatry, eating disorders, and as a mental health promotion specialist. Elvera’s passion for preserving mental health and wellness and reducing barriers to care inspires her work.
