Elizabet Orekhova earned her PsyD in England prior to moving to Canada. In England she worked at the National Health Service providing assessment and therapeutic interventions for a wide variety of mental health presentations ranging from anxiety and depression to PTSD. In Canada she worked intensively in the field of addictions and eating disorders and extensively with social and relational issues.
Elizabet is trained in a variety of modalities, such as CBT, DBT, humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and mindfulness-based approaches. She is skilled in helping her clients navigate personal and relational issues that have been hindering their wellbeing.
At CBT Associates, Elizabeth works for adolescents and adults to provide evidence-based treatment. Elizabet is a Registered Psychotherapist, and member of Member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
