Dr. Laura Garcia-Browning received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Windsor. Her dissertation looked at increasing help seeking among sexual assault survivors. Dr. Garcia-Browning completed her clinical internship at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre.
At CBT Associates Dr. Garcia-Browning provides treatment for adults, teenagers, couples and families with a primary focus on issues pertaining to depression, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, bereavement and insomnia. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in her practice as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
Dr. Garcia-Browning is a licensed psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Psychological Association.
