Delphine Amer, M.Sc. RP

Delphine has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and more than ten years of experience delivering CBT to children, adolescents, and individual adults. She is well versed in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solutions Focused Therapy. She draws on her knowledge and experience to create collaborative, empowering, productive, and therapeutic alliances with clients that promote mental wellness. Delphine is trained to teach collaborative problem solving (CPS) Tier I and Tier II for children, adolescents, and their parents/ caregivers, and has a specialization in child and adolescent mental health through her graduate degree. As a former child and youth counsellor in Canada, Delphine has over ten years of experience providing counselling for children, adolescents, moms, dads and caregivers in children’s mental health agencies, foster care agencies, schools, community centres and in private practice.
