    Canadian Certified Counsellor
    Danalee is a Certified Canadian Counsellor registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and has been practicing for 13 years in the mental health field. Danalee graduated from Gonzaga University with a Masters in Counselling Psychology degree. As a Certified Canadian Counsellor, Danalee’s focus is providing the necessary tools to assist individuals and couples in moving towards optimal health and wellness. Danalee believes that everyone has the innate capacity for healing. Danalee’s goal is to create a safe and caring therapy environment for clients, where they are able to integrate their past experiences and (Re)Connect with themselves and others. Danalee uses various evidence based treatment methods and has been trained by leading experts in trauma therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI). Danalee also uses The Gottman Theory for couples. Danalee is also certified in the Safe & Sound Protocol (Polyvagal Theory) and is currently undergoing Somatic Experiencing Intermediate level training. Danalee supports clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship difficulties and parenting.
