Cynthia Kappes

Cynthia is a Registered Social Worker who specializes in providing client centered care to individuals with diverse backgrounds. She sees each person as unique and deserving of clinical approaches that meet their specific needs. Throughout her 30 years in the social work profession, she has primarily assisted clients coping with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, post traumatic stress, domestic violence, and grief or loss. She strives to assist clients in a compassionate, caring and respectful manner. Cynthia's primary therapeutic interventions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. Cynthia attempts to create a positive, safe and comfortable therapeutic environment so individuals can learn new techniques and skills to cope with their day-to-day life challenges.
