    Crina Fantanaru, MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist | Virtual Only
Deep work. Real connection. Evolving tools. I am a seasoned, depth-oriented therapist drawing primarily from evidence-based approaches-CBT, DBT, ACT, alongside trauma-informed, attachment-based, IFS, and psychodynamic frameworks. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, grief, burnout, relationship and parenting challenges, body image concerns, and workplace stress. I also have extensive experience supporting military members, first responders, law enforcement, CAS workers, and their families. I bring a direct, engaged, and highly attentive style to therapy, adapting interventions to the person rather than a single model. The focus is on practical change, clearer understanding, and emotional flexibility that holds up in real life. My clinical work is shaped by a focus on patterns, relational dynamics, emotional coping strategies, and the impact of chronic stress and systems that wear people down over time, as well as the pressures of modern life. Some clients use AI tools between sessions, which we can integrate thoughtfully and safely, with confidentiality and boundaries in mind. Clients often describe my work as “bang-on.” I feel inspired by nature, creative expression, and people’s real-life experiences within their cultural worlds. I also offer non-supervisory peer consultation for therapists managing burnout, vicarious trauma, or complex clinical dynamics.
