Crina Fantanaru, MSW, RSW

Crina is a therapist (Registered Social Worker), member of the Ontario College of Social Workers(OSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. In 25+ years of practice, Crina has accumulated experience in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, relationship difficulties, work-related struggles, life transitions, loss and grief, negative body image, dysregulated eating and eating disorders. As she has significant work experience with the military, law enforcement, and CAS, she provides therapy for uniformed staff, veterans and first responders. Crina has experience with specific topics, including collective trauma/ PTSD; vicarious trauma; and provides therapy for fellow mental health practitioners. Crina integrates evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT) in a broader trauma and attachment-informed framework while using various customized modalities to meet each client's needs. Crina incorporates her creativity, professional curiosity, and bang-on clinical instincts by bringing hands-on community and clinical experience working with people with diverse backgrounds and stories.
