Amber Lynch is a Social Worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She specializes in working with adolescents, transitional aged youth, and adults. She received her MSW from the University of Toronto.
Ms. Lynch’s areas of focus include working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, adjustment disorder, stress, burnout, difficulty regulating emotions and difficult life transitions.
Amber has completed training certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the University of Toronto, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Skills training through Behavioural Tech. Amber also has training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Self Compassion.
Amber works from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach, integrating aspects of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, solutions focused narrative therapy and mindfulness interventions in her work with clients.
