    Adetola Grillo, PhD.

    Psychologist
Adetola is a psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists Ontario. She works with adults with a diversity of concerns, applying primarily cognitive-behavioural theories and interventions as well as other relevant therapeutic approaches. Adetola received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Redeemer’s University, southwestern Nigeria. She had her pre-doctoral training at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Abeokuta and the Nigerian Prison Service Agodi, both in southwestern Nigeria. Her supervised practice (2021-2023) to become licensed in Ontario was with CBT Associates. She also has a master’s degree in International Health & Management from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Over the course of her career, she has also worked as a research fellow at Nipissing University; an administrator in the private sector and as a data officer with a non-profit organization, Médecins Sans Frontières. These diverse experiences have enriched her clinical practice. As a psychologist, Adetola’s ‘superpowers’ are her warmth, intuition, and clinical skills grounded in her training and a deep sense of professional responsibility and ethics; as well as her personality and values which have been strengthened by multicultural experiences living and working in several countries, including her new home, Canada. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. Please note that our associates work with many presenting issues, some of which are not listed in this biography. Please speak with our intake team at 416-363-4228 for more information.
