Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker | Virtual Only
Life can feel overwhelming—especially when you're facing career/work changes, health concerns, or the demands of caregiving. If you're feeling stuck, or in need of a safe space to breathe and reflect, I can offer calm, compassionate support tailored to your needs. With a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and over 20 years of experience, I specialize in supporting adults dealing with generalized anxiety, health anxiety, depression, stress, and caregiver fatigue. I also work extensively with employees experiencing workplace stress, burnout, or those navigating or considering a leave of absence. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Grief Therapy, always adapting my work to fit each client’s unique journey. I’ve been told that I offer a warm, grounded presence and that I create a space where clients feel truly seen and heard. My style is collaborative and down-to-earth, blending practical strategies with genuine empathy and respect. As I enter my 6th decade of life, I have a whole lot of experiences to draw from and reflect on through a growth perspective. Whether you’re navigating a personal transition, struggling with stress, or seeking a better sense of balance, I am here to help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence. When not working, I enjoy travelling and working across the country by way of an RV; meeting people from all walks of life, and spending time in nature or at the gym. I practice Qi Gong and mindfulness practices with a community of like-minded souls across the country. I am both a Registered Psychotherapist and Social Worker who is passionate about providing support to individuals facing life transitions. I am particularly passionate about working with adults in the second half of life who are grappling with questions of identity or purpose in life, navigating relationships, career transitions, stress, caregiver burnout, and health related concerns, among other issues. My focus integrates evidence-based practices with the clients’ own values and goals, working collaboratively to shape the path in therapy towards whole health. I completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am comfortable working with a range of clinical and non- clinical concerns. I am registered to practice in B.C., ON, AB, and NS.
