What is BEACON?
CBT Associates has developed an innovative digital platform called BEACON that makes the resources used for your treatment more accessible to you and your therapist.
Simply put, BEACON allows you to complete the readings, worksheets and outcome measures that are part of your treatment plan on your phone or desktop. What’s more, it lets you and your therapist track your progress between appointments in a secure and confidential way.
How can BEACON enhance your treatment experience in between your weekly sessions with your therapist?
Traditional in-person CBT
BEACON Digital Support (Web and mobile app)
To get started with BEACON, just ask your therapist.
Why should I use BEACON?
BEACON lets you access the personalized treatment plan (educational modules, easy access homework and outcome measures) that you and your therapist agreed on during your previous visit. You can refer back to an e-library of resources and your week-to-week homework.
BEACON also helps make your in-person therapy time more efficient and targeted because your therapist can view your homework and outcome measures prior to the in-person sessions.
Does BEACON cost more?
We’re pleased to be able to offer this enhancement to your in-person treatment at no additional cost to your traditional therapy.
When can I start?
Once you complete your initial assessment, your therapist will decide if you’re a good candidate for the BEACON treatment option. Once you agree that BEACON is the right tool for you, you’ll receive an email link to download the app and get started.
How do I start?
Just ask your therapist or our intake team!
