Sarah Sterlin-Altman is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She has a Bachelor of Psychology from Queen’s University and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto.
Sarah works with children, youth, and families, providing individual, group, and family therapy. She is experienced in working with clients with a variety of mood disorders (anxiety, depression, etc.), behavioural challenges, learning difficulties, and autism spectrum disorder. She adapts therapy for different learning needs and profiles, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Sarah believes in a non-judgmental strength-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals and her experience in both residential and clinic settings has helped her create an environment that is warm and accepting.
