Drawn to the field of mental health early on, Samantha Pollack completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. She then obtained her Masters of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers with good standing, as well as a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Samantha received clinical training from the Toronto District School Board. At CBT Associates, Samantha provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy through BEACON and in-person services; supporting clients that experience a range of mood and anxiety disorders (i.e. depression, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic disorder).
Samantha has volunteered her time working with young mothers’ transition into parenthood, as well as facilitated self-regulation and anger management groups in an elementary school setting. Samantha believes in the importance of building client-centered goals in therapy, providing her clients with a safe and compassionate environment. She works to support individuals to draw on their own strengths and overcome challenges to welcome personal growth.
