Dr. Nora Klemencic received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Guelph and completed her predoctoral internship at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa. Before moving to Toronto, she worked at a community-based mental health agency in Thunder Bay, treating children with significant disruptive behaviour in a day treatment classroom and working with adolescents using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), among other roles. Dr. Klemencic has experience working with children and adolescents with a range of difficulties, including developmental differences (e.g., intellectual and learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders) and behavioural concerns relating to Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), trauma, anxiety, and depression. She currently works part-time through Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital providing Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) groups for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and significant anxiety.
At CBT associates, Dr. Klemencic provides assessment and evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviours, and learning difficulties. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Canadian Psychological Association.
