Dr. Carly Brescacin received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Phoenix. She completed her internship training at Henry Ford Health System in Health Psychology, where she provided psychological assessment and treatment in general outpatient services, Internal Medicine, and the Transplant Institute. Dr. Brescacin has a particular interest in integrative healthcare and the relationship between physical and emotional health.
At CBT Associates, Dr. Brescacin provides individual treatment for adults struggling with a broad range of mood and anxiety disorders including OCD, as well as the management of chronic illness and eating disorders. In caring for her clients, Dr. Brescacin draws from Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in addition to traditional Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Dr. Brescacin is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and also holds a position in the Diabetes Clinic at McMaster University Medical Centre.
