Psychological Associate (Supervised Practice)
Dina Tsirgielis completed her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She completed clinical training at the University of British Columbia’s Scarfe Counselling Centre, and Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use Services where she specialized in assessing and treating individuals suffering with mood and anxiety disorders in both individual and group therapy formats.
Dina has more than five years experience working with adults of diverse backgrounds, and is interested in providing treatment for individuals with depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, borderline personality disorder as well as relationship and marital issues. Dina aims to provide her clients with a supportive and empathic environment that will encourage them to identify their strengths and in turn, empower their decision-making processes and management of life challenges.
Dina has received strong training in various evidence-based psychotherapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. Dina is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association.
