Psychologist

Practice in Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology with adults from diverse set of cultural backgrounds.  I have experience treating people with mood disorders, a variety of anxiety disorders (especially post-traumatic stress disorder and complex post-traumatic stress disorders), chronic pain disorder, personality disorders, anger difficulties, addiction, acquired brain injury, severe behavioural disorders and grief.  I am deeply committed to understanding psychological distress from a cultural and client centered perspective, and to developing therapeutic processes that meet the client’s unique cultural and personal needs, using largely cognitive, behavioural, dialectical, and emotion focused strategies, and supervising and training others to work from this perspective.
